After a long hiatus (something something pandemic something), Aria Cappella is finally ready to dust off our pipes and get back into the rehearsal room!
Only one problem though - we're short of singers!
For 2024, our goal is to rebuild the choir, a double-quartet, and enjoy singing our complex, a cappella arrangements of operatic favourites.
Every second Sunday evening, we'll gather together at Jessica's house in Montmorency, and sing and socialise for a couple of hours. When we master each piece, maybe we'll record it! When we have a refined repertoire, we'll organise a concert! Down the track, hopefully there will be gigs again, though there's room in the double-quartet for singers who just want the pleasure of singing together in rehearsal.
If you have classical vocal skills and a keen ear for harmony, please reach out for further audition information. Our first audition session will be at 5pm on Sunday, February 4th.
